2019 was an exciting year for Modern Love. The column marked its 15th anniversary and became a television show.
This week, the Modern Love podcast revisits one of the essays that was adapted for the Amazon Prime Video series. Judd Apatow reads Brian Gittis’s 2014 essay, “At the Hospital, an Interlude of Clarity.”
Mr. Gittis is the assistant director of publicity at Farrar, Straus and Giroux. Mr. Apatow is a comedic screenwriter and producer whose work includes “Crashing,” “Girls,” “Knocked Up” and “The Big Sick.”
Stay tuned after Mr. Apatow’s reading to hear more from him, Mr. Gittis and the Modern Love editor Daniel Jones.
