A heartless teenager admitted Friday to throwing a 6-year-old boy off the 10th floor of London’s Tate Modern gallery in an attack that nearly killed the child, according to a report.
Jonty Bravery, 18, pleaded guilty to pushing the tiny tourist off a viewing platform at the famed art museum on Aug. 4, the UK Metro reported.
He entered the plea at the Old Bailey criminal courthouse in London Friday afternoon and was held in custody ahead of sentencing.
It’s still unclear why Bravery — who did not know the boy — may have wanted to hurt him.
After falling from the platform, the boy landed on the fifth floor of the building and suffered from fractured bones and bleeding of the brain, according to past reports.
He was airlifted to a hospital, spent months in intensive care and is now in recovery at his home in France, according to the outlet.
The boy is now “now able to venture outside” and has regained movement in his legs, relatives said.
