African celebrities are sharing throwback pictures in the #10yearchallenge

From Hollywood celebrities to Afrobeat stars, African celebrities are sharing throwing back photos of themselves years before the fame.
Here are some of our favorites.

South African comedian,Trevor Noah's style hasn't changed much. But his fans noticed a definite change in his pocket.

Nigerian media personality and author, Toke Makinwa set social media ablaze with her transformation. Hers according to a fan is "definitely the best one yet.

Who are those boys?

One of Africa's hottest boy bands, Sauti Sol also took the opportunity to have a joke. The MTV award-winning band threw their 1.3 million followers into confusion with their #10YearChallenge. The caption "Dudu Boiz vs Voices in the Sun" gave little clue as to what they looked like way back. The 'before' picture they shared had fans wondering if it was really them in the picture.

Kemi Adetiba's 10-year dream?

Nigerian award-winning movie maker, Kemi Adetiba took the challenge a notch higher. She posted a picture of herself with American media executive and philanthropist, Oprah Winfrey and wrote, "Don't hate."
No hating here. Oprah is every girl's dream.

Cuppy that tune!

DJ Cuppy, one of Africa's leading female DJs was among those sharing their throwback pics. Her smile certainly hasn't changed much!

South African actress Nambitha Ben-Mazwi 's was all smiles as she shared pictures showing she had not aged much in 10 years.

Zimbabwean actress, model, and television personality Vimbai Mutinhiri shared how she progressed from magazine model to African TV star.

'A Risky Boy?'

Snapchat celebrity Idris Okuneye, more popularly known as 'Bob Risky' shared pictures of himself 10 years ago and the pictures show he is a clear winner in the transformation stakes!
